Software Developer

The Software Developer will be working on an Open Source and Drupal platform and working in a Linux environment, with coding done in PHP. The Software Developer will be using their analytical skills to identify and resolve coding and development issues. You will also be performing site maintenance on their Drupal built sites and Drupal Module upgrades. The Web Developer will be contributing to code reviews and code sprints as well as using technical specifications to build prototypes to be tested and enhanced. The person will be working within a IT team, and will be comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-orientated environment.

Skills Required:

• Drupal , PHP, HTML 5 and CSS 3, JavaScript, MySQL, An excellent understanding of Open Source principles and client-developer prototyping.
• Experience with Version Control Systems such as Git
• Strong C# .NET & UI developer with proven experience of web technologies (HTML5, AngularJS, Javascript, MVC, SOAP, REST)Good experience of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database design and development using T-SQL
• Ability to design and deliver BI through data visualisation. Knowledge of SQL Reporting Server.
• Strong business analysis skills as they will be responsible for working closely with the business to gather requirements and implement them.

Desirable Experience for the Software Developer:

Experience of Open Source software such as Memcache, Apache or similar Knowledge with CSS technologies such as SASS
Experience working in an Agile Environment Responsive Development for varying screen sizes and devices
